8. Village Flower

Jaka Someh has been practicing martial arts for 2 years. As usual, every month he visits Aki Sudin's residence. Carrying the luggage of the harvest, he walked upright towards the village of Cinangka.

Arriving at Aki Sudin's residence, as usual, Jaka Someh was warmly welcomed by Aki Sudin and Nini Esih. They already consider Jaka Someh like their own grandson. Likewise with Jaka Someh who considers them as his own grandparents.

That day, Nini Esih was busy cooking something in the kitchen.

"hey Nini what are you doing...how come you look so busy...?"

Jaka someh curiously asked Nini esih.

"This is it...my grandson...nini is making coconut oil..." said Nini Esih

"Coconut oil...? what is it for, Nini...?”

Jaka said someh was surprised. He doesn't really know much about coconut oil. So far, to cook Jaka Someh's food, he only uses the method of burning, boiling and steaming.

"Yes, for cooking ... so that the food becomes more delicious and savory ... it can also be used to oil the hair so that it looks black and healthy ... or it can also be used to moisturize the skin ... well, there are many benefits... that's when you apply it His hand is the same as Aki Sudin, right, he uses a mixture of coconut oil too...don't you know...?".

Nini Esih tried to give an explanation.

Jaka Someh nodded his head.

Jaka Someh always feels interested in new things he meets. He then asked many questions to Nini Esih about how to make coconut oil. Nini Esih was happy to explain it.

Patiently and painstakingly, Nini Esih continued to stir the old coconut milk in the large frying pan. He kept on stirring continuously and for a long time. Until finally formed oil and waste in the form of blondo. Jaka Someh continued to pay attention to the activity.

Jaka Someh was happy because he got new knowledge from Nini Esih.

After being satisfied with learning how to make coconut oil, in the evening he again started practicing silat with Aki Sudin in the yard of the house.

Seeing Jaka Someh's ability to grow rapidly, Aki Sudin felt proud. In his heart he said

"You're great... you do have extraordinary talent... it took me decades to master these moves to perfection... You didn't even take two years, you already have perfect moves... even more powerful than me…”

After three days and two nights of training at the sub-dept.'s residence, Jaka Someh again said goodbye to return to his hut on the slopes of Mount Halimun.

It was late afternoon when Jaka Someh walked down the river which is in the border area of Cikaret and Cinangka villages.

With unsteady steps he walked while enjoying the scenery around him. The sun is not so hot. The wind also blows lightly. The sound of birds has begun to be heard chirping.

When Jaka Someh was passing through a riverside area filled with tall grass, he suddenly heard the sound of people crying.

"Kang...don't...don't...please darling...don't...I don't want to..."

Jaka Someh stopped to listen more carefully. Just as he was about to approach the source of the voice, suddenly a girl jumped up and ran from the tall grass

"Oops... Kang Panji... I don't want to... already... don't continue... I'll just go home..."

Jaka Someh was amazed to see the woman.

Deg, his heart skipped a beat when he found out that the woman turned out to be Asih, Pak Rohadi's daughter. A beautiful-looking girl who exudes youthful passion. A Village Flower from Cikaret Village.

A handsome man is trying to chase her

"Nyai... come on... don't run... I'm just joking...".

The man said, who was none other than Panji, Asih's lover.

"No, Kang. Asih wants to go home... it's late... afraid of being angry with you...".

Panji also tried to chase Asih.

It didn't take long for Panji to catch up with Asih, who wasn't running too fast. The hand of compassion was immediately withdrawn. Then Panji embraced her passionately. Asih, who looked scared, tried to rebel.

Panji laughed when he saw Asih trying to reject him. He immediately tightened his grip.

Jaka Someh, who saw Panji's behavior like that, immediately became emotional. He immediately jumped at Panji and pushed him away. Panji immediately fell backwards.

Surprised to get a sudden attack from someone. Panji tried to get up, and immediately looked at Jaka Someh.

“Bastard… who are you…? How dare you fight Panji… a student from Maung Karuhun College… are you looking to die… huh…?”

Without thinking, Panji immediately got up and attacked Jaka Someh.

Jaka Someh just dodged a little, while inserting his right hand punch into Panji's stomach. The movement is light, fast but weighty.

Bruk... Jaka someh's punch directly hit Panji's stomach.

Panji grimaced and felt excruciating pain. Both hands holding the stomach. His breath hitched.

Fresh blood came out of his mouth. His eyes could only bulge in pain, while pointing at Jaka someh. But he was unable to say a word. Then he fell back down and sat on the ground.

Seeing her lover fall, Asih immediately ran closer to Panji

"Kang...Banji...are you okay...?"

With full of trepidation, Asih immediately embraced Panji's body, which was in pain.

Jaka Someh was surprised to see Nyai Asih's behavior like that.

"Nyai, you? why...? didn't this person just want to hurt you...?"

"Kang someh... it's true that you are Kang Someh... Kang Someh  this is Kang Panji... be careful if anything happens to Kang Panji... Asih will be angry with you..."

Jaka Someh was silent. He was confused by the situation.

Then he immediately helped Panji.

“Eh, you know this person, my love…?”

Panji said while pointing at Jaka Someh.

"Yes, darling.. this is Kang Someh... the son of my late  father friend..."

Asih tried to explain.

"Kang Someh, Kang Panji is my lover, so there's no way he could hurt me...it was just a misunderstanding..."

Asih said to jaka Someh.

"Yeah sorry nyai, I don't know... I thought this person would rape you..."

Jaka said someh frankly, as if he regretted his hasty action.

"It's okay, now you should  sorry to Kang Panji...."

"Okay...nyai....Kang...I apologize to you...for thinking that I would commit a crime..."

Jaka Someh then tried to greet Panji.

Panji was forced to accept Jaka Someh's handshake .

"Kang Someh... I ask you not to tell  anything about the incident earlier... watch out, kang... if you dare to tell... Asih will be angry..."

"Oke nyai no problem,... I promise I won't tell Mr. Rohadi anything..."

“Oh yeah…now what? Would you be willing to take me back to your house...?”

Jaka Someh offered to take Nyai Asih home.

"No, Kang... Asih wants to accompany Kang Panji here first... Kang Someh, please go home first..." Asih said.

Jaka Someh hesitated to leave Asih and Panji alone in that place.

"Never mind bro... I'll just go home first... It's still okay..."

"But nyai...!" said Jaka Someh feeling doubtful

"It's okay, kang someh... never mind... bro, please go home first..."

Asih said who told Jaka someh to leave the place immediately.

Even though it was hard, Jaka Someh finally left the place.

He walked towards his hut on the slopes of Mount Halimun. Arriving at the house, Jaka Someh immediately lay down on his bale-bale. For some reason Nyai asih's face became a reflection in his mind. There was a strange feeling that enveloped his heart.

"Already ah...Someh you don't dream too high...".

Jaka Someh muttered to himself. He immediately closed his eyes so he could quickly forget the sweet face of Nyai Asih, the Village Flower.

7. Success. Discipline and patience

After a good night's rest, Jaka Someh woke up before dawn. He woke up with a burning spirit. His strength is now recovered, ready to do his first training. That morning he planned to build a training ground or gym on the slopes of Mount Halimun, around his own field.

Unlike the previous days, that morning Jaka Someh went by running fast up the mountain. He remembered the story of Aki Sudin, that in the past, Ki Buyut Leuweung Cadas had trained him only to run in the forest. Even at that time Aki Sudin was running while being chased by stray dogs in the forest. The teacher deliberately trained the sub-dept.'s Aki Sudin with such hard physical training. Jaka Someh also believes that running is useful for increasing stamina and physical strength.

Not even a quarter of the way to the top of the mountain, Jaka Someh was in a hurry. He was panting for breath, feeling tired and tired from running so fast. He wanted to rest for a while, but his little heart refused. He again strengthened his resolve, to persist in the practice. Jaka Someh encouraged himself not to be defeated by the tiredness and pain he was going through.

Even though he was feeling unbelievably bad, Jaka Someh still tried to run, even though his running was getting slower. Until finally he arrived at his field after passing the top of the mountain. There he immediately lay down because he was no longer able to withstand the feeling of fatigue.

He was sweating profusely and he was panting for breath. His vision is also dim. But he felt quite satisfied after successfully passing his first practice.

After resting enough, his energy began to recover. After that Jaka Someh started working on his fields. That day he planted corn.

When finished, Jaka Someh took the water container. He took a sip of water to quench his chronic thirst. After that, he made various tools from wood and bamboo as a means to practice his silat lessons. He stuck a few pieces of bamboo into the ground. It was on this piece of bamboo that Jaka Someh practiced balance, training his steps and stances.

Every day Jaka Someh trains hard and disciplined. Without realizing it, he had been training hard for a month.

Jaka Someh remembered Aki Sudin's message to visit him once a month. To discuss and practice silat with Aki Sudin.

That day, Jaka Someh went to Aki Sudin's house in Cinangka village, bringing various crops from his fields. He walked carrying two sacks of rice and corn.

Without difficulty Jaka Someh found Aki Sudin's house in Cinangka village even though he had to ask several times to the residents there.

"Assalamualakum...."

Jaka Someh said hello when he arrived in front of Aki Sudin's house.

The house looks simple, but looks neat and beautiful. Around the yard there are several types of plants and flowers.

"Wa alaikum salam...."

Aki Sudin answered Jaka Someh's greetings.

"Weleh...someh....Thank God you came to the Aki Sudin's house...Nini...Nini...come here, there is someh to our house...".

Aki Sudin called Jaka Someh with great hospitality, then he immediately called his wife named Nini Esih. Nini Esih immediately came out to welcome Jaka Someh.

“Oh my handsome son… how are you…? come on, please go into the house, sorry if our house is not big enough...he...he..."

Nini Esih smiled kindly at Jaka Someh.

"Thank you...Nini...Aki...I apologize for coming all the way to trouble Aki and Nini...he...he...Punten Nini, I didn't bring anything... except for this one…”

Jaka Someh smiled, feeling happy with their hospitality..

"Wow... you don't bother like this my grandson, by bringing a lot of souvenirs.... hi... hi.. but here you go... the souvenirs..."

Nini Esih laughed happily when Jaka Someh brought something.

After being tired and chatting, they hung up. Finally, Aki Sudin invited Jaka Someh to practice silat.

"Please Someh...show to me how far your training has gone...?"

Aki Sudin asked Jaka Someh to show the results of his month-long training on Mount Halimun.

"Yes, Aki..."

Jaka Someh immediately showed various silat movements to Aki Sudin.

Aki Sudin nodded his head when he saw the various silat movements shown by Jaka Someh. The movement looks full and powerful. His heart felt happy to see Jaka Someh's almost perfect movements in his eyes.

"Good...good...it's only been a month...you've been able to master the various moves that Aki taught perfectly..."

"Now I will train your physical strength..." Aki Sudin said.

"What training Aki...?" Jaka Someh asked looking impatient.

"Now Aki will train your wrist strength... you try to hold it as hard as you can... I will beat your wrist with sugar cane sticks... this... hold on... hold on as hard as you can... Now try to stretch your arms out in front of you...".

Jaka Someh immediately spread his hands forward.

"Learning silat means learning about surviving to live in any condition... the enemy will not tolerate our condition that is weak, sick or careless... in rain or heat... during the day or night... before you can hit your enemy then you have to be able to feel the pain of being hit and kicked... you have to be strong... if you already know it feels bad to be hit, then you shouldn't be arbitrarily to others, because you won't be able to like it when someone beats you..."

Aki Sudin shouted loudly to Jaka Someh

“Hold….strengthen your hands….hold your breath….come on….strengthen both of your hands…”

Shouted Aki Sudin.

Jaka Someh immediately hardened his hands.

Prak...prak...Jaka Someh's hands were immediately beaten with sugarcane sticks by Aki Sudin. It hit really hard. Although the pain was excruciating, Jaka Someh tried to endure the pain. His heart was determined to beat the cane stalks.

After 20 blows, the cane stalks began to crumble. Likewise, Jaka Someh's wrist, which looks red and swollen. He felt excruciating pain.

After resting for a while, Aki Sudin tried to treat Jaka Someh's wrist, which seemed still swollen, with a traditional mixture of coconut oil, kencur and ginger.

The next day Jaka Someh resumed his training with Aki Sudin. Practice stances and lock science. Which ends with exercises to strengthen the wrist using hard cane sticks. After the cane stalks were crushed and Jaka Someh's hands became swollen, Aki Sudin immediately treated Jaka Someh's hands with his favorite potion.

Thus Jaka Someh practiced for three days and three nights at Aki Sudin's house, after which he said goodbye to return to his hut on the slopes of Mount Halimun, and continued to practice alone there.

The following month he returned to visit Aki Sudin's house to receive new lessons.

Many exercises are given by Aki Sudin in addition to physical endurance exercises. Strategy training against enemies, as well as training to increase concentration and enthusiasm for survival. Not infrequently Jaka Someh's whole body was beaten and kicked by Aki Sudin, and Jaka Someh was ordered to restrain him.

Once, Jaka Someh was ordered to soak in a deep river. After he felt he could no longer hold his breath, Jaka Someh immediately emerged to the surface of the river. Just for a moment he took a breath, Prak... his head was immediately hit by a fairly hard wooden stick. At first he was shocked and felt pain. His head is quite a big lump. He immediately dived back and walked towards the river bank. Before he finished releasing his tiredness and pain, Aki Sudin immediately launched an attack on him.

Even though Jaka Someh felt overwhelmed, he still tried to avoid the attack, rolled over and immediately responded to Aki Sudin's attack, until Aki Sudin then felt bad because he got a backlash from his student. Those are some of the exercises they do.

After several times practicing with Aki Sudin, Jaka Someh was able to overcome the various attacks that Aki Sudin launched in a flash and sudden. In fact, he was able to dodge various lightning attacks launched by Aki Sudin even though his breath was still out of breath due to lack of oxygen due to a long soak in the river.

That's how Jaka Someh was trained very hard by Aki Sudin to face various kinds of dangers that threaten even in conditions that are made as critical as possible.

"Patience...and keep fighting for your life....you must always be ready to face the enemy in any condition...no matter the rain...no matter the heat...no matter when you are sick... ...because of the threat of an enemy who doesn't really know it....you must always be READY...”

Aki Sudin said to Jaka Someh.

The days have passed. When he was on Mount Halimun, Jaka Someh practiced alone with great discipline. To strengthen his fist punch, Jaka Someh practiced using sandbags, sugarcane stalks and wooden trees as an outlet for his fists. Meanwhile, to train agility, he practiced by jumping on the branches of trees imitating the behavior of monkeys who are good at jumping in trees.

Jaka Someh also trained hard on how to use a machete quickly and effectively. Every day he practiced chopping bamboo and wood into small pieces with his machete with just one slash.

Every day he practiced machete slashing skills and even the results of his slashes became more refined. Apart from practicing slashing bamboo and wood sticks, Jaka Someh also practiced chopping leaves that were growing from trees.

Without realizing it, he has been practicing silat for almost 2 years under the guidance of Aki Sudin. His body is now getting stronger and more muscular. His movements became agile and fast. Even now he has been jumping from one tree branch to another. It was as if his body was as light as a monkey or a squirrel skilled at jumping.

6. Be grateful - no root rattan is made

When passing a river with many stones, Jaka Someh decided to rest for a while in that place. He sat on a large rock by the river. Suddenly he remembered the lunch he had not eaten. Jaka Someh immediately opened his lunch, then voraciously ate the lunch until he was full. Finished eating, he lay down on the big rock earlier, looking up at the sky that was about to twilight. Suddenly he remembered Mr. Rohadi. In his heart he said

"Oh yes… I forgot… I haven't said goodbye to Mr. Rohadi…. It's not good either, he's been so kind to me… I'd better go to his house now… to say goodbye…”

Jaka Someh then got down from the big rock and walked towards the village. It didn't take long, he had arrived at Mr. Rohadi's yard. Jaka Someh then said Salam, which was immediately warmly replied by the host.

After being invited in, Jaka Someh entered Pak Rohadi's house. At that time there was a guest. A very old grandfather in black dumpling clothes. Pak Rohadi then introduced Jaka Someh to his guest.

"Hey Jang someh... let me introduce you  to Aki Sudin... he is from Cinangka village... Coincidentally, Aki Sudin was in visiting Cikaret village... that's why he stopped by my house... please excuse Aki... this is Jang someh, he is  Sabarudin's son ...".

Jaka Someh shook hands with Aki Sudin,

“How are you Aki…?”

Jaka Someh said small talk. Aki Sudin answered Greetings from Jaka Someh. He smiled warmly showing his missing teeth

“Alhamdulillah… handsome boy… Aki is healthy… wow… you're Sabarudin's son, are n't you…?. How are you now…?”

While still smiling, Jaka someh answered aki sudin

"Alhamdulillah Aki...I'm healthy..."

After that they sat back on the bale-bale of Pak Rohadi's house. Mr. Rohadi said to Jaka Someh

"How, have you succeeded in becoming Ki Jaya Kusuma's student?"

Jaka Someh was silent, there were doubts and shame to tell Mr. Rohadi. With a forced smile Jaka Someh shook his head. Mr. Rohadi was surprised by Jaka someh's answer, then asked Jaka someh

"Hah...are you not accepted as a student of Ki Jaya Kusuma, how come...? Try to tell me….!”

Because he felt bad seeing Pak Rohadi's face that looked curious, Jaka Someh then told the bitter experience he had just experienced while visiting the Maung Karuhun college. Hearing Jaka Someh's story, Mr. Rohadi was surprised and empathized.

In his heart he doubted whether it was true that Ki Jaya Kusuma had the heart to reject Jaka Someh. Pak Rohadi has known Ki Jaya Kusuma for a long time and knows his good personality. Ki Jaya Kusuma is a warrior who has good character. Of course, it would be strange if he refused Jaka Someh who wanted to study at his university. Seeing Jaka Someh's face that looked sad and full of disappointment, Mr. Rohadi tried to comfort Jaka Someh

"Yeah...it's okay...you just have to be patient, maybe it's not your soul mate to study there, you don't have to worry...there are still many martial arts colleges in this world...You can study anywhere you want...no need to be difficult… the world is not as narrow as a Moringa leaf…”

Jaka Someh confirmed Mr. Rohadi's words.

Suddenly Aki Sudin also asked Jaka Someh

"Indeed, at which college did you want to study silat... handsome? ".

Jaka Someh glanced at Aki Sudin, then answered his question shyly

“At first, I wanted to study with Ki Jaya Kusuma, Aki. But apparently I was not accepted by him, he...he...in fact I was almost beaten there."

Aki Sudin who heard Jaka Someh's answer like that, just nodded his head, while comforting him

"Hee...hh...just be patient ...it's okay...Maybe it's not your mate yet to study there..."

Jaka Someh confirmed the words of Aki Sudin while saying:

"Yes, Aki... God willing, I'm still patient, Aki..."

Aki Sudin spoke again

“I know Ki Jaya Kusuma…. He is good person… I'm sure there must be a reason he can't accept any more students…Would he be having a problem right now…?”

Jaka Someh is curious about Aki Sudin's words

“What do you mean Aki…?”

Aki Sudin continued his speech again to explain about Ki Jaya Kusuma

"Ki Jaya Kusuma's martial arts are actually still in the same school as Aki….what if the teacher is still in the same college with Aki, his name is Ki Lodaya… Aki and Ki Lodaya and Ki Lampah are students of ki Buyut Leuweung Cadas… Among the three of us, Ki Lodaya is the one who succeeded in inheriting the ultimate move from Ki Buyut Leuweung Cadas, namely the Tiger Pangaduan move ... which was later passed down to his favorite student, namely Ki Jaya Kusuma ... Now Ki Lodaya and Ki Lampah have long died, only me is still alive, until now...".

Aki Sudin stopped his story, sighing. His eyes went blank as if he was remembering his past memories. The atmosphere became quiet.

Suddenly Mr. Rohadi broke the silence by calling out to Aki Sudin

"Even though I just thought about it...why you don’t  accept Jang Someh to be your student, aki...?"

Aki Sudin and Jaka Someh were both shocked to hear Pak Rohadi's words. Jaka Someh glanced at Aki Sudin who looked doubtful. Mr Rohadi reaffirmed his words

“Jaka Someh…I will story about Aki Sudin,  when Iwere a child, he was the champion of this village… He once defeated a gang of robbers who would plunder our village…just alone…Aki Sudin cleared the robbers…even though the number of there were dozens of them armed with machetes and axes…”

Hearing Pak Rohadi's explanation about the greatness of Aki Sudin, Jaka someh was amazed. Aki Sudin laughed at Mr. Rohadi's words, then he said to Mr. Rohadi

"Wow, that's my past , now Aki is old... it's not that I don't want to teach someh, but now I 'm not strong enough, I'm already breathing heavily, how can I practice martial arts..."

Hearing Aki Sudin's words, Mr. Rohadi understood that Aki Sudin refused to train Jaka Someh, because of his weak physical condition. But Mr Rohadi did not run out of ideas, he again said to Aki Sudin

"It's like thi,s Aki…You don't have to train him with physical movements, just pass your knowledge of silat on to Someh... let him practice on his own... You just need to give instructions to someh, teach him how to practice silat... just like that aki… how about you, if you only teach the theory?”

Aki Sudin was silent for a while, as if he was thinking, then he said

“Alright… then, Aki agrees… so that my knowledge doesn't disappear into the earth… Aki will only teach the theory, the theory of martial arts that Aki knows… but Someh has to train it himself…!”

Mr. Rohadi seemed happy to hear Aki Sudin's words, and continued to say to Jaka Someh

"Come on...you kiss Aki's hand first...let him be your teacher...now you can buy tobacco at Bi Cicih's stall...the shop is behind your father's house...you'll give the tobacco to the sub-dept.'s Aki sudin. as a sign that you have been accepted as his student ... this is just a tradition in our village ... now this is money to buy tobacco ...".

Hearing Mr. Rohadi's words to Jaka Someh, Aki willingly chimed in

"Well...don't use it like that Rohadi...just like this, please buy betel leaves for me...let me heat Someh's eyes first ...in order all the dirt in his eyes comes out...so that his eyesight will be clear and clean...and watch out for the opponent's movements..." .

Pak Rohadi complied with Aki Sudin's request, then ordered Jaka someh to buy dauh betel at Bi Cicih's stall. Jaka Someh obeyed Mr. Rohadi's words without refuting a word. After receiving the money from Mr. Rohadi, Jaka Someh immediately went to Bi Cicih's stall to buy some betel leaves. Not long after that he came with the betel leaf and immediately gave it to Aki Sudin while kissing the hand of Aki Sudin. Aki Sudin accepted the betel leaf with pleasure. After washing, the leaves are put in a glass of water. Aki Sudin's mouth seemed to be muttering because he was reading the PRAYER to pierce Jaka Someh's eyes with betel leaves. Jaka Someh's eyes were dripping with betel leaf concoction. Jaka Someh was silent as he closed his eyes. Suddenly his eyes stung, and he burst into tears. So much dirt in his eyes came out. His vision seemed lighter and lighter.

Jaka Someh did not expect to learn silat from Aki Sudin, there was no root rattan. Instead of studying at the most famous Silat College in his village, he studied with former champions. It still makes him happy. Now he has officially become Aki Sudin's student. Aki Sudin said to Jaka Someh

"Here... please listen carefully... I can only teach you silat theory... it's about the basics of silat that I have learned... then you can practice it yourself...!"

Aki Sudin then started his lesson

"Actually, learning silat can be anywhere... even you can learn from nature around us... nature is a great teacher for us... teaches many things... one of them teaches about this silat science..."

Even though he still doesn't understand Aki Sudin's words, Jaka Someh still says yes

"Yes Aki..."

Aki Sudin said again

"Basically, there are only seven at my martial arts ...the first one you have to be able to egotize (avoiding attacks), the second you have to be able to parry, the third you have to be able to hit, the fourth you have to be able to tajongan (kick), the fifth you must be able to mount a sturdy horse, the sixth you must be able to step, and the seventh you must be able to trust... surrender to the Creator..."

Then Aki Sudin also explained the seven basics of his martial arts. In addition to explaining, Aki Sudin also practiced various ways of egos, how to parry, how to hit, and how to kick. Then Aki Sudin also taught how to install the correct stance, the various steps of the feet in silat, and the attitude of tawakal in silat. In addition to the seven principles in his martial arts, Aki Sudin added guidance to Jaka Someh about the science of lockdown and how to escape from the enemy's lockdown.

All night Aki Sudin and Jaka Someh practiced silat movements, while Pak Rohadi just watched. Jaka Someh absorbed a lot of the lessons given by Aki Sudin. Perhaps because of his enthusiasm and extraordinary interest, he was able to remember almost all the lessons from Aki Sudin.

Without even realizing the night was almost replaced by the time of dawn. They rest while waiting for the dawn prayer. After the morning prayer, Jaka Someh repeated the various movements that Aki Sudin had taught him last night. Aki Sudin only pays attention and occasionally corrects Jaka Someh's movements which he thinks are still not quite right. In the morning they had breakfast at Bi Cicih's stall, because Pak Rohadi did not cook that day.

After breakfast, they returned to Pak Rohadi's house, before finally returning to their respective homes. Before going home, Aki Sudin advised Jaka Someh

"Remember, you have to be diligent in practicing...understand all the movements that I have taught...actually you can learn from anyone, including learning from the nature around you...practice hard so that you achieve perfection, you can have a healthy and strong mind and body, able to be agile and agile and have harmonious movements... If you can, once a month you cav visiting Aki's house in Cinangka village, I want to see the progress of your practice... let's discuss and practice together... ".

Jaka Someh also answered Aki Sudin's words

"Yes Aki, I'm happy, I will visit Aki's house...once a month... Thank you Aki for accepting me as a student...".

Jaka Someh bowed his body to pay respect to Aki Sudin.

Aki Sudin smiled, happy to see Jaka Someh being polite.

Not long after that, Aki Sudin said goodbye to Pak Rohadi and Jaka Someh. Jaka Someh still accompanied Pak Rohadi until noon, then after that he said goodbye to Pak Rohadi. He return to his simple hut.

Arriving at his hut, Jaka Someh immediately lay down in the bale-bale, resting until the next morning.

The Hidden Master of Silat: Chapter 3. The Beginning of a Determination

The sun was almost at its peak, and the heat was intense. Only a few clouds dotted the sky over Kampung Cikaret 1 , while a gentle mount...
